Travel industry veteran Steve Gorga is CEO of Tourism Holdings, Inc., a new travel-focused holding company formed to develop, buy and introduce companies that will leave the mark of success for the next generation of travel professionals and travelers. Known for excellence in service and business management, Steve's more than three decades of industry leadership include growing and guiding large organizations successfully through change.
Steve most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Travel Impressions, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Express and one of the country’s largest tour operators, which, for nine consecutive years was named by Travel Weekly as “Best Tour Operator Sales and Service.” As President of Kemwel Holiday Autos, the world’s largest leisure car rental wholesaler, Steve was voted “Car Rental Person of the Year.” Steve also held senior management positions with Reed Travel Group evaluating technology opportunities and ventures and leading ABC Corporate Services, Utell International and Robert Reid Associates. He also spent 15 years with American Airlines/AMR Corporation and SABRE Travel Information Network where he created and managed SABRE’s first marketing department. He served on the Starwood Advisory Board from 2010–2013 and was elected to the Tourism Cares Hall of Fame in 2013 for his years of supporting philanthropy and charitable contributions to the industry. Steve has traveled extensively throughout the world and is a coveted keynote speaker at many travel industry events.
